A flat design must anticipate the assembled carton. Front, back and side panels, opening direction, barcode placement, mandatory copy and finishing plates must align with folds and glue zones.
Board colour also influences the printed result. White board supports bright artwork, while kraft board introduces a warmer base tone that can alter perceived colour. A defined proofing and approval process supports consistency across a product range.
